[Gospelchristianity] Mid-week Hello

If you are going to watch anything watch The Big Bus.  It is very hard to find and very funny.  It is sort of Airplane on a bus.  Star-studded cast.  Not for children but pretty clean humor nonetheless.  I guess that stuff on Luther would be good too.   Please pray for us to be content and not worry about our new and old house.  Pray especially for Jennifer and the baby.  She has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and will have to work hard to get diet and exercise in order.

  I hope that the "homework" is not a burden.  Do let me know.  Obviously it is not required.  I do think it will be beneficial.  This week is an excerpt from Luther's commentary on Galatians.  It is one of the most important books in Western History.  His commentary reveals the central concerns of the controversy of his time and reveals the heart of Luther and his struggle against the shackles of the church of his day.  In a sense, it is the same struggle we face in our own hearts every day.

   Jennifer and Sue on their weekend retreat
  

  We could always be praying for
      
   Jill's pain  
   Group marriages  
   Group children  
   Pastors and the director of womens ministry (I apologize for my feminism)  
   and a host of other things.

  Our Sabbath Feast was a feast indeed.  I think there were around 30 people in all.  We were joined by the Richardsons and Finchs as guests.  I enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth's dad.  Thanks to all who provided food, especially Betsy who provided the chicken and was unable to eat with us.
  

  Now I am off to Russia.  I am trying to read The Brothers Karamozov.  Peace.  Love and live they Good News.
