<P class=MsoNormal>We have had an eventful few weeks with Ryleigh.</DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal> </DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal>Right now Ryleigh is 86 days old (12 weeks 2 days). Her corrected <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1238465518_2>gestational age</SPAN> is 36 weeks 5 days. Last night she weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces.</DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal> </DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal>Ryleigh had her nose cannula removed about three weeks ago. She has been and still is breathing on her own without mechanical assistance. Last weekend (weekend of the 21<SUP>st</SUP>) they removed her pulse oximeter, which monitors her <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1238465518_3>oxygen saturation</SPAN>. Basically she has been oxygenating herself well enough that she did not need to be monitored.</DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal> </DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal>As of this Saturday she is taking all of her feedings via bottle. She no longer has a <SPAN class=yshortcuts id=lw_1238465518_4>feeding tube</SPAN>. She is doing very well with her feeds, finishing every bottle in record time with no problems. Harveys tend to not have issues finishing their meals!!</DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal> </DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal>All of this leads to the best news…Ryleigh is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. After 88 days in the hospital, we will be able to take our girl home. She has a car seat test where they test her ability to handle the trip home, and we will be staying with her in an overnight room at the hospital tomorrow to ease us in to the big change. If all goes well, we walk out of Scott and White on Wednesday, April 1 (too ironic).</DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal> </DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal>Thank you again for all of your support. The fact that we will be able to walk out of Scott and White with a healthy, happy baby girl is in no doubt due to your prayers and words of support. Many times the hospital staff has commented on how wonderful it is that I work for a company that allows me to spend so much time with my girl in the hospital. They are right, I am lucky and blessed.</DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal>I have pictures from this weekend, I will place them on my shared drive tomorrow.</DIV>
