<DIV>Friday group: this even would be a great capstone to our recent study of the book "FEEL".</DIV>
<DIV>John & Jill: I REALLY urge Alex to attend...for at least 3 songs....</DIV>

<DIV>Last night, Carol and I attended a concert at UMHB by Ken Medema. You likly don't know who he is but he was one of the early CCM artists but he has a style like no other. He sings and plays keyboards and can improvise in any style, and I do mean any! (Baroque, classical, blues, jazz, rock, Latin, New age, World music, etc) You have to love a guy who counts among this most memorable musical moments, "the first time I heard Bruce Springsteen and hearing the Brahams Requiem....) </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>One of his amazing gifts is to ask for an idea from the audience (either 3 or 4 notes or a story or subject) and then on the spot create an amazing song about it. You have to see it to believe it.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>He insists on audience participation, and you will have a GREAT time! You will enjoy praising our Lord and rejoicing in his goodness in a fresh way. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>He is performing at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 5:30 today.</DIV>
